I'll post pictures later, but just want to give a quick update.
We had so much fun. Our Santa Fe friends (old and new) are so warm and inviting. The event was great; the weather amazingly cooperative. We had a lovely, relaxing time (although my legs are still sore from hiking up a canyon at Bandelier).
And, grandpa-in-charge did fabulously. He managed to get each child where they needed to be on time (well, probably almost an hour early, but that didn't hurt anyone). Great job all around!

We're so glad you came for a visit!! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip, glad the kiddos are all fine. Weather is supposed to start getting cold and nasty as of tomorrow, we lucked out! Off to the Farmer's Market, in search of some peaches, but the season may be over already---
